I was rescued when I was soooo little — dirty, sick, and alone after a huayco, a natural disaster in Peru kind of like a massive mudslide with rocks, water, and chaos.
The huayco swept away my family, and I was the only one left. That’s why my humans named me Wayka — a glow-up version of huayco. In Quechua, it means friend and teamwork — something we really needed back then. Since then, I’ve been their bestie.
This whole thing started thanks to my mom, Daniela Tocci. We’re both from Peru, and after living most of her life there, she felt it was time for a change — so we moved to Miami.
After many years working in marketing, content creation, and event production — leading brand activations, 360 campaigns, and strategy across Latin America and the U.S. — she decided it was time to build something of her own. Something she truly loves, that lets us spend more time together.
Now she pours all that experience (and love) into Wayka & Co. — where every detail, from packaging to product, is made to be both beautiful and smart.
